Homemade Burgers


PREPARATION 10 min COOKING 30 min TOTAL TIME 40 min

Ingredients for 4 people:

500 gr beef minced meat (5 or 10% fat)

1 egg

30 gr of grated Parrmiggiano cheese

300 gr of sourdough bread (only the internal crumb without the crust)

1 cup of milk to soak the bread in it

handful of chopped parsley

olive oil

salt & pepper to taste

(buns/salad/cheese/seasoning optional to garnish)


Method

1.Start by soaking the bread crumb in a deep dish with the milk and then drain the milk so that you are left with soggy breadcrumbs. In a deep bowl add the minced meat, breadcrumbs, Parmiggiano cheese, parsley, egg and seasoning and mix well. Then form the burger patties.

2. You can cook them in a pan with a bit of olive oil for about 4 min on each side or place them in a tray and bake in the oven for about 20 min at 180 degrees. Enjoy with your favourite toppings.


Notes:

  • You can add diced onions if you would like to add some more flavour in the patties
