Quick Flatbread


PREPARATION 25 min COOKING 10 min TOTAL TIME 35 min.

Ingredients:

500 gr plain flour

250 gr water

80 gr olive oil

8 gr soda bicarbonate

5 gr salt


Method

1. In a bowl mix the water with olive oil, soda bicarbonate and salt. To this liquid mix start adding 2 spoons of flour at the time and repeat until you finish the flour and when the dough gets tough transfer it on a flat surface. Work it until you get a smooth elastic dough.

2. Cover the bowl with the dough and let the it rest for 20 min. Then divide in 5 balls each about 170 grams. Roll each ball with a rolling pin to 2-3mm thickness.

3. In a hot pan cook the flatbread for about 2-3 min a side and make a few holes with a fork. Once done to keep them warm and soft put them in a tea towel. Enjoy.
