5 Steps to Quit Smoking Successfully

“There is nothing more rewarding than tracking your progress”

Anyone who is smoking or has ever smoked has also tried quitting at least once in their life. Most of the times we fail, because we do it for the wrong reasons.

When you acknowledge that you need or have to quit smoking, there is a higher possibility that you will succeed in it.

External influence or forced decision is never going to work. It has to be you and only you to take this decision as a first.

Everyone around you will talk!

Whatever it is, the way you decide to do it stick to it. Most of the time you will not feel the stories or situation relevant to yours.

Make it stand out

This is the most important step, once you have decided that you want to quit and you hush the stories around you, decide why are you doing it!

Whether it is health related or you want to set an example for your kids - the reason has to be so important for you that nothing should stop you from achieving it!

Getting help is not a step back, it can really help.

It doesn’t have to be a professional paid support, it could be listening to a podcast, talking to a friend, doing something for yourself or anything that will support you along the way not to give up.

My personal favourite:

Celebrating your wins! Every week, or month embrace the little wins, this will remind you how strong you are and will empower you to continue.
