Bruschetta Italiana


PREPARATION 10 min COOKING 2 min TOTAL TIME 12 min.

Ingredients:

2 slices sourdough bread

1 mozzarella

5 mixed colours cherry tomatoes

fresh basil leaves

olive oil

salt and pepper to taste


Method

1.Slightly warm the bread slices in a pan with little olive oil or in a toaster. Slice the mozzarella, tomatoes and remove the seeds. Lay layer of basil, mozzarella and tomatoes top with olive oil and salt.


Notes:

  • You can bake the tomatoes in a tray for about 15 minutes if you prefer them to be sweeter.
