Biscuits with Dark Chocolate
PREPARATION 5 min COOKING 15 min TOTAL TIME 20 min.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
100 gr sugar
80 gr sunflower oil
320 gr plain flour
8 gr baking powder
250 gr dark chocolate (for melting)
Method
1.Whisk the eggs with the sugar. Then add the oil and whisk again. In a separate bowl mix the flour, baking powder (and zest). Start adding slowly the flour until it incorporates well.
2. You should get an elastic dough that won’t stick to your fingers. Transfer the dough on a lightly floured surface and work it just until it gets smooth. Then use heart shape to cut out the biscuits and place in a baking tray. Bake for about 15 min at 180 degrees. While you bake the biscuits in a bain-marie melt the dark chocolate. Once the biscuits are chilled dip only the half and optional top with chopped nuts. Let them cool on a baking paper and enjoy!
Notes:
They should be light in colour not golden as they cook very quickly
You can add your favourite nuts on top to decorate
