Cauliflower Steak


PREPARATION 5 minutes COOKING 15 minutes TOTAL TIME 20 minutes

Ingredients for 4 portions:

1 medium/big cauliflower head

100 gr mozzarella or cheddar cheese (or mixed)

handful of fresh parsley

5 spoons of olive oil

salt, pepper, paprika + mixed spices to taste


Method

1.Rinse the cauliflower and then slice in thick cut slices and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

2. Then in a small bowl mix the olive oil with the salt, pepper and rest of the spices. Use a brush and spread the mixture well to cover each steak. Bake them for 15 min at 180 degrees with a fan then turn them upside down and bake further 15 minutes. Lastly add the cheese on top and bake for 5 minutes until the cheese melts. Enjoy!


Notes:

  • Make sure the cauliflower is well covered with the seasoned oil so that it does not burn whilst cooking.
